Apartments are brand new and has all necessary conveniences. However, what makes this place really stand out is the excellent and personal service of the staff. Mesaj : “CLEAN AND NEAT, FRIENDLY STAFF, CENTRAL: EXCELLENT” Reviewed July 20, 2011 NEW We stayed in Cundavilla between 10-18 July 2011 with my husband. Reception: Initially we booked in the hotel for 11th of July. However, due to a miscalculation, we arrived at the hotel at 3 am at night on 11th. The reception closes normally at 12 pm; however the manager was so helpful, he arranged a room for this unforeseen early visit, and he left the lights on of this room for us to recognise the room. We could immediately enjoy a nice sleep after a long drive. Rooms and accomodation: There are 10 rooms, I think. And all the rooms are designed nicely and comfortably. The bed and the pillows were comfortable enough. The rooms are not extremely big however, there is enough room for everything! Like, there is a small kitchen with two electric fires, and a small fridge. There is also cutlery and a watercooker! Needless to say, in the bedroom there is an airco. The rooms also have big balconies. There also, everything is very well thought: Two banks and pillows on them make it very comfortable to enjoy the garden and the sea view from the balcony! Also there are two more chairs! Furthermore, in the balcony there is a drying rack. As the hotel is not extremely big, and overly crowded, it is quite calm and relaxing to be there. Lots of privacy as well. Food: The price you pay includes the breakfast. The breakfast is serves open buffet until 12 am. However, if you are later than that, you still get your breakfast plate! It is a traditional Turkish breakfast: four types of cheese, a spicy mixture of cheeses, three types of olives, two types of jam, peanut butter (or something like that), honey, butter, tomato, pepper, cucumber, musli and cornflakes. They also serve eggs to your liking. There are little extras to the breakfast everyday: like börek (traditional Turkish filled pastry, simit (traditional Turkish circular bread with sesame seeds) or watermelon. There is of course unlimited tea or coffee. The hotel has a little kitchen, so do not expect to find all you want immediately. If you let the manager know what you would like to have for dinner before hand, a perfect dinner is promised: try his suggestions as well. that's what we did and we are happy we did. His calamar in red wine sauce is according to me a worldwide deliciousness! The ink fish in vinegar sauce is also awesome! The fish he grilled also perfectly - it was well cooked however so juicy still! What is so nice about the kitchen of the hotel is that your wishes are also taken into account: it is not a customised kitchen, if i may say so. The only suggestion I could make for the food is that the lunch portions could be a bit bigger! However by ordering some more you can easily solve that problem because the prices are quite all right. Location: The hotel is one of the first few hotels at the entrance to Cunda. And it is about 10 minutes walking to the center of the island where you will see the infamous fish restaurants and the little bazaar. As the island is very small, from the hotel you can easily reach wherever you want no matter at which corner you are. Therefore, this hotel has a big advantage compared to the boutique hotels located in the very center, as they do not provide a private beach and they seem to be pricey than this hotel. Beach: The hotel has a private beach and all the necessary stuff are available (except for towels that you have to bring yourselves or you gotta pay to the reception about 5 euro which will sell you a towel in return). The hotel is located facing the sea in the middle of a bay. That's why the sea is relatively warmer than the other parts of Cunda. Staff: Staff are extremely polite and helpful. We were always given the correct information & hints even on topics which are a bit depending on one's taste: good hints of restaurants, good hints of beaches and things to do! None of the hints we took we regretted later on! You can trust to follow the suggestions of the manager and other staff! Overall: I would definetely recommend this hotel considering its location, the food being served, the cleanness and neatness of the rooms as well as the quality service provided by the staf!! Relativ einfach zu finden, zumal der Eigentümer per Mail eine ausgezeichnete Beschreibung schickt. Die GPS-Koordinaten auf der Booking.com-Seite sind nicht ganz präzise, aber genau genug.
